from α, - a G 1 (as a negative particle) and τοπος, - topos G 5117; out of place, i.e. (figuratively) improper, injurious, wicked:--amiss, harm, unreasonable.
ατοπον Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. Acts 28:6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
