from a compound of α, - a G 1 (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivative of σωζω, - sozo G 4982; properly, unsavedness, i.e. (by implication) profligacy:--excess, riot.
ασωτιας Titus 1:6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. 1 Pe 4:4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
