5176 GREEK
τρωγω,
TROGO
tro'-go
probably strengthened from a collateral form of the base of τραυμα, - trauma G 5134 and τριβος, - tribos G 5147 through the idea of corrosion or wear; or perhaps rather of a base of τρυγων, - trugon G 5167 and τριζω, - trizo G 5149 through the idea of a craunching sound; to gnaw or chew, i.e. (generally) to eat:--eat.

τρωγοντες Matt 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
τρωγων John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. John 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. John 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
