from αντι, - anti G 473 and the middle voice of λαμβανω, - lambano G 2983; to take hold of in turn, i.e. succor; also to participate:--help, partaker, support.



αντελαβετο Luke 1:54 He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
αντιλαμβανεσθαι Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
αντιλαμβανομενοι 1 Ti 6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
