from σεβαζομαι, - sebazomai G 4573; something adored, i.e. an object of worship (god, altar, etc):--devotion, that is worshipped.
σεβασματα Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
σεβασμα 2 Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
