3474 GREEK μωρος, MOROS mo-ros' probably from the base of μυστηριον, - musterion G 3466; dull or stupid (as if shut up), i.e. heedless, (morally) blockhead, (apparently) absurd:--fool(-ish, X -ishness). μωραι Matt 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Matt 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: Matt 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. μωρας 2 Ti 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. μωρα 1 Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; μωρε Matt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. μωροι Matt 23:17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? Matt 23:19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 1 Cor 4:10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. μωρον 1 Cor 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. μωρος 1 Cor 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. μωρω Matt 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
