from μετα, - meta G 3326 and στρεφω, - strepho G 4762; to turn across, i.e. transmute or (figuratively) corrupt:--pervert, turn.
μεταστραφησεται Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
μεταστραφητω Jam 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
