middle voice from a compound of κατα, - kata G 2596 and a derivative of οπτανομαι, - optanomai G 3700 (compare 2072); to mirror oneself, i.e. to see reflected (figuratively):--behold as in a glass.
κατοπτριζομενοι 2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
