from ευθυμος, - euthumos G 2115; to cheer up, i.e. (intransitively) be cheerful; neuter comparative (adverbially) more cheerfully:--be of good cheer (merry).



ευθυμειν Acts 27:22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
ευθυμειτε Acts 27:25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
ευθυμει Jam 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
