middle voice from επι, - epi G 1909 and the base of σκοπος, - skopos G 4649; to inspect, i.e. (by implication) to select; by extension, to go to see, relieve:--look out, visit.
επεσκεψασθε Matt 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Matt 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
