1199 GREEK δεσμον, DESMON des-mon' or desmos des-mos' neuter and masculine respectively from δεω, - deo G 1210; a band, i.e. ligament (of the body) or shackle (of a prisoner); figuratively, an impediment or disability:--band, bond, chain, string. δεσμοις Php 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
